Against the backdrop of the World Cup, adidas asked us to help create a brand experience to engage retailers and the skate community in London...
To create a social media friendly, buzz-generating event that connected key retailers and the skate community with adidas and the Skate Copa range by appealing to them in an unforced, authentic way.
Having won foosball competitions stages in associated independent retailers, teams were invited to an exclusive weekend event held at a bespoke, pop-up skate park and adidas-branded football pitch.
At the skate park, designed and inspired by the Skate Copa range, the winner would see the ‘adidas all-stars’ in action — before being taken over to Battersea for a five-a-side football competition the following day.
Fusing both World Cup football and skateboarding, both days provided a ton of selfie-snapping and tweet-friendly moments to help promote the brand and engage the skate community.
Achieving 100% attendance from invited retailers on both event days, our creative solution enabled adidas UK to generate 41% of adidas Skate Copa conversation, globally.
